Integrated actuators combine a harmonic drive gear, brushless motor, dual absolute encoders, and a servo drive with fieldbus communication into a single compact module. A single 4-conductor cable carries power and communication, eliminating external drive cabinets.
LVH Systems sources integrated actuators from Harmonic Drive LLC including RSF-5B IDT, RSA-8A IDT, FHA-Mini IDT, LPA, and SHA IDT series with CANopen and EtherCAT communication. Peak torques from 0.5 Nm to 477 Nm.
RSF-5B IDT Supermini Actuator with Integrated Servo Drive
The RSF-5B IDT integrates a servo drive with CANopen communication directly into the RSF-5B miniature actuator. Only 4 conductors needed: CANH CANL +24VDC 0VDC. 14bit absolute encoder on motor input. Gear ratios 30 50 100. Maximum torque 0.5 to 1.4 Nm. Mass 77g. Control modes: Torque Velocity Position CSP CSV CST. Available in shaft or flange output with front or rear exit cable.
RSA-8A IDT Integrated Drive Mini Actuator
The RSA-8A IDT mini actuator integrates a servo drive with CANopen communication into the RSA-8A actuator. Only 4 conductors needed: CANH CANL +24VDC 0VDC. 14bit absolute encoder on motor input. FHA-Mini Integrated Drive CANopen Servo Actuator
The FHA-Mini Integrated Drive eliminates external servo drive using CANopen communication with only 4 conductors. Dual absolute encoders: 15bit motor input and 14bit gear output. LPA Low Profile Rotary Actuator with Integrated Servo Drive
The LPA Integrated Series features high precision Harmonic Drive gearing with brushless servo motor dual absolute encoders and integrated servo drive with CANopen or EtherCAT communication.
