The BRT-ATC-20 is a heavy-duty robotic automatic tool changer with 20kg payload capacity and integrated pneumatic and electrical pass-through. It enables high-payload robots to switch between heavy grippers and processing tools in under 2.5 seconds.
The Borunte BRT-ATC-20 represents the high-capacity solution for manufacturers building flexible multi-process robotic cells. In production environments where a single robot must perform diverse heavy-duty tasks such as loading a part with a mechanical clamp and then switching to a grinding spindle, the ATC-20 provides the automated switching capability required to eliminate manual tool changes. With a rated capacity of 20kg, this unit is engineered to support the larger end-of-arm tooling common to the 20kg and 50kg articulated robot classes. The system features a robust fail-safe locking mechanism where an internal high-strength spring maintains the tool connection even in the event of a catastrophic loss of air pressure or electricity. The BRT-ATC-20 includes 12 gold-plated electrical contacts for high-reliability signal transmission and multiple high-flow pneumatic ports ensuring the tool is fully powered and communicative immediately after coupling. High-precision hardened steel alignment pins ensure a tool-change repeatability of plus or minus 0.02mm maintaining absolute path accuracy.
