The BRT-IO-32 is a high-density digital input/output expansion module featuring 32 optoisolated channels. Designed for complex multi-process robotic cells, it provides the extensive connectivity required for large arrays of sensors, actuators, and external PLC handshakes.

The Borunte BRT-IO-32 is the premier connectivity solution for large-scale automated workstations. As robot cells become more complex incorporating multiple conveyors, part-presence sensors, safety interlocks, and pneumatic manifolds, the demand for digital signal ports often exceeds the capacity of the standard robot controller. The BRT-IO-32 solves this by providing 32 dedicated channels in a high-density DIN-rail mountable module. Every channel is fully optoisolated ensuring that electrical noise, inductive back-EMF, and voltage spikes from external factory equipment cannot damage the sensitive circuitry of the main HC controller. The module utilizes a high-speed internal bus that ensures signal latency is kept below one millisecond, vital for time-critical operations such as high-speed sorting and safety stops. The BRT-IO-32 features an array of diagnostic LEDs that provide instant visual verification of signal status, significantly speeding up troubleshooting during initial cell commissioning and maintenance.
