Utilizing high-speed laser triangulation technology, the sensor identifies the exact 3D coordinates and orientation of the seam, sending this data to the Borunte HC controller which then shifts the entire robot path to match the real-world part position. This is a massive improvement over traditional touch-sensing methods as it is much faster, does not wear the nozzle, and can detect even small gaps and offsets. The BRT-LS-01 is compact, lightweight, and designed to be mounted directly on the welding torch.
