The BRT-UPS-1000 is an industrial-grade uninterruptible power supply for robot controllers. In the event of a power outage, it ensures the safe shutdown of the HC control system preventing data loss and joint brake failure during critical manufacturing cycles.
The Borunte BRT-UPS-1000 is a critical safety and reliability peripheral for any high-value automation cell. Industrial robots are sensitive to dirty power and sudden outages which can lead to corrupted operating system files or sudden mechanical drops if the joint brakes are not engaged correctly. The BRT-UPS-1000 provides a high-capacity battery buffer and power conditioning for the robot's main control processor and I/O modules. Featuring an intelligent communication link with the Borunte HC controller, the UPS sends a signal the moment factory power is lost. This allows the robot to execute a Safe Pause or Controlled Shutdown routine ensuring that all production data is saved and the arm joints are locked in a safe posture.
