Product Overview
The Unitree Z1 is an ultra-lightweight 6-axis collaborative robot arm designed for mounting on mobile platforms and walking robots. Featuring 2-3kg payload and 700mm reach, it enables mobile robots to interact with the world by opening doors, picking objects, and performing precision tasks.
The Unitree Z1 Collaborative Robot Arm is a specialized manipulator engineered specifically for the demands of mobile automation. Unlike traditional industrial arms that are heavy and fixed, the Z1 is built with an ultra-lightweight aerospace aluminum frame weighing just 4.1kg. This low mass is critical for maintaining the balance and battery life of mobile platforms like the Unitree Go2 or B2 quadrupeds. Despite its small size, the Z1 features a full 6-axis articulated design with high-precision harmonic reducers delivering repeatability of plus or minus 0.1mm. The Z1 is available in Air and Pro variants with the Pro version offering higher joint velocities and a 3kg payload capacity. A key technical highlight is its integrated control architecture where the arm can be powered and controlled directly through the mobile robot main computer ensuring perfectly synchronized movement between the base and the arm. This synergy allows for complex Mobile Manipulation tasks such as opening a door while the robot is walking or picking up an item from a shelf. LVH Systems sources the Unitree Z1 for companies building autonomous service and inspection systems. Available for sourcing through LVH Systems global procurement network.
