Product Overview

The xMate CR12 is a premier 7-axis collaborative robot featuring 12kg payload and 1300mm reach. Equipped with all-axis torque sensors and high-fidelity force control, it enables safe human-robot collaboration for heavy-duty assembly, machine tending, and precision polishing.

The ROKAE xMate CR12 represents the pinnacle of high-capacity collaborative automation, specifically engineered to handle tasks that require both significant lifting power and human-safe interaction. Unlike standard 6-axis cobots, the CR12 utilizes a redundant 7-axis architecture providing a level of motion flexibility comparable to a human arm. This redundancy allows the robot to reach around obstacles or maintain a specific end-effector orientation in extremely cramped workspaces while avoiding joint singularities. The cornerstone of the CR12 performance is its integrated high-precision torque sensors located in each of its seven joints. This all-axis torque sensing allows the robot to detect external forces with extreme sensitivity providing compliant motion and active safety stops that meet the most rigorous international standards. With 12kg payload and 1300mm reach, the CR12 is perfectly suited for heavier collaborative tasks such as palletizing cartons, tending large CNC machine tools, and performing force-controlled grinding or surface finishing. LVH Systems sources the xMate CR12 for manufacturing leaders in the automotive and appliance sectors providing specialized support for force-feedback calibration and the selection of collaborative-rated grippers. Available for sourcing through LVH Systems global procurement network.

Expert Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical answers sourced from engineering specifications and integration guides.

The 7th axis provides kinematic redundancy allowing the robot to change the position of its elbow without moving the gripper. This is essential for working in confined spaces such as inside machine tools where a standard 6-axis robot would hit an obstacle or reach a joint limit.
